The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco, along with the Stanford Center for East Asian Studies and Stanford Food Design Lab, invites you to "K-Sool" Event—an exploration of traditional Korean Wine (Makgeoli), Spirits, and Cultural Performances.

Master Rock Darm Park, renowned for his expertise in Korean liquor making and featured in BTS Jin's YouTube episode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekrBiWe1qFU), will guide us through the cultural significance of Korean Traditional Liquor.

This event offers a glimpse into Korea's rich drinking culture, presenting traditional alcoholic beverages alongside captivating traditional music performed by a distinguished Pansori (Aria) Master.

Pansori Master Jin Chul Yoon will perform Korean traditional songs for us.

A select group of 40-50 participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in Makgeoli making at the event venue. Please be ready to present a government issued ID to verify that you are over 21 years of age to participate in Makgeoli making and tasting.

RSVP is required. If you find out that you cannot attend the event after registering, kindly cancel your reservation.
