Please join us for our third session in our 2023 Spring seminar series on "Entrepreneurship in Asian High-Tech Industries."  US-ATMC Director Dr. Richard Dasher and Venture Capitalist Peng Ong will deliver a fireside chat on trends and outlook for startups in Southeast Asia.

Peng Ong is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Monk’s Hill Ventures, a leading early-stage tech venture capital firm in Southeast Asia. Peng is an industry veteran with over 25 years of industry experience as an entrepreneur, founder, and investor in Silicon Valley and in Asia.

Prior to Monk’s Hill Ventures, he was a Venture Partner at GSR Ventures in China. The firm is known for its successful investments in companies like Didi Chuxing, Eleme, and Qunar. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded a series of successful companies including Match.com, Interwoven and Encentuate, whose products  today combined generate over USD$1 billion in revenues annually.

 

This program is part of an 8-week series on "Entrepreneurship in Asian High-Tech Industries", which begins April 11, 2023 and continues weekly until May 30, 2023. Seminars will be held Tuesdays, 4:30 PM – 5:50 PM.
