We are excited to announce the launch of the "Global Perspectives" blog on Medium, a social publishing platform. The aim of the blog is to provide a space for students and scholars to share their views on global events, research, and study abroad. It's also a space to curate different types of stories from across SGS.

We welcome your ideas and contributions. A submission guide is available here.  Stanford students, visiting scholars, staff, and faculty are welcome to submit material for consideration.  You should submit stories to Kendra Davidson.  Here are just a few story ideas that we're looking for, but we welcome any additional ideas you might have:

- student, faculty or visiting scholar research (books, travel abroad, theses, papers, surveys, etc.)

- classe profiles

- debates on a topic

- interviews (such as a Q&A with a scholar or faculty member on a topic in the news, or a round-up of views from different people on the same subject)

- photo essays

- helpful tips or lists (career tips, reading lists)
