2023 Stanford-Berkeley Graduate Student Conference In Premodern Chinese Humanities

The application period for the 2023 conference is now open. Interested students from all institutions within the U.S. and abroad must complete the online application form below, including upload of one document which contains a description of the the paper topic and its significance (up to 500 words) and a short bio (up to 100 words including current institutional affiliation). Please note that proposals should address primary sources and current scholarship related to their paper topic. Applicants are welcome to present papers associated with ongoing or projected dissertation research, but the papers need not be generated by thesis work.

Full papers due: Friday, March 10, 2023 (Note: Late submissions will result in elimination from the conference.)
