Arts and Cultures in Contemporary Mongolia
In conjunction with the Stanford Pan-Asian Music Festival (PAMF), and working in collaboration with the University of California at Berkeley, PAMF is also pleased to present "Mongolian Harmony," a celebration of Mongolian art and culture which will encompass a diverse array of events before and during the regular PAMF concerts, including an exhibition of the works of two living artists who represent both diverse trends in Mongolian contemporary art and different levels of response to the country's transition to modernity, and two international symposia critically reflecting upon the arts, culture, religion and politics of contemporary Mongolia.

Stanford event tickets go on sale Jan. 18, 2011, and may be purchased through the Stanford Ticket Office (650) 725-ARTS (2787).
