DECLARING THE MAJOR
Before declaring a major in East Asian Studies, each student must submit a student proposal for the major and a current transcript to the Center for East Asian Studies. After evaluating the proposal, the B.A. program committee will notify the student of acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance, the student should obtain his/her advising folder from the original (in some cases, freshman) advisor and take it to the Center for East Asian Studies. Students should feel free to discuss their plans and programs with the staff of the Center. The proposal forms are available at the Center offices in Building 50, next to Memorial Church or as a downloadable file below.
